Now We're Boring in Akron

Summit County Fiber Ring As we build the fiber ring throughout Summit County, today our boring process took us to Akron. More specifically, we were boring at both Frank & Market (picture on right) and Portage Path (short video below). Again, boring is a process that places conduit and fiber underground while minimizing digging. Boring offers significant environmental advantages over traditional cut and cover pipeline/utility installations.
